The House and Gardens warmly welcome the public from Spring until Autumn each year. Our 2026 season is expected to start on Saturday 11 April with Tulips At Houghton.

Since 2015, Houghton has hosted major exhibitions of contemporary art and sculpture including James Turrell, Richard Long, Damian Hirst, Henry Moore, Anish Kapoor, Tony Cragg, Sean Scully, Antony Gormley, Magdalene Odundo and Stephen Cox.
