Outdoor Play Area
Located just a short walk from the Stables and Cafe, our small wooden children's playground, with swings and a slide, is the perfect place for kids to have fun and burn off some energy.
We went to the cafe which was fantastic, cakes were superb and the pot of tea was a proper pot of tea well done the cafe team who were delightful.
We had lunch in the restaurant / cafe in the courtyard and were very happy. I had a slow cooked lamb dish that was so tasty, a huge portion of lamb with thoughtful accompaniments, other people had an excellent veg tagine.
Fantastic cafe serving excellent food at very reasonable prices.
The café was clean and there were tables both in and outside, we had scones with jam and cream and a cup of tea, the scones were really lovely and fresh.
I would especially recommend the cafe - Emily and staff are wonderful and I had the best cup of tea ever.
Café is superb. Food excellent with a larger choice and better presented than the typical National Trust property(Long time NT members)
