April: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday
May: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday, plus Bank Holiday Mondays 6 and 27
June: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday
July and August: Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, plus Bank Holiday Monday 26 August
September and October: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday. Last opening day is Thursday 31 October.
Antony Gormley, Time Horizon, opens on 21 April and closes on 31 October.
Magdalene Odundo’s exhibition opens on 12 May and closes on 29 September.
Opening times:
On the opening days listed above, the following timings apply:
11am – gates open for access to the Walled Garden, Model Soldier Museum, old stables, deer park, sculpture park, exhibition room, shop and café
12pm – House opens
4pm – last entry at the gates, last entry to the house
4.30pm – house closes
5pm – Walled Garden, Café, and outside areas close
(The Houghton Festival takes place on 8 – 11 August 2024 – this is on a separate site on the Estate, a way from the Hall and Gardens. However, depending on wind direction etc, there may be low level sound ingress at times.)
