Skyspace by James Turrell

Join us for an amazing evening, experiencing the effect of the change of light from day to night in James Turrell’s tranquil Skyspace.

Friday 19th & Saturday 20th May 2023

£35 per person

Through an aperture in the ceiling, you are offered a heightened vision of the sky in a place of contemplation and revelation, harnessing the changing light as the sun sets over Norfolk.

7.30pm for 7.45pm Arrivals on the West Lawn, with a welcome from arts expert Amanda Geitner.

8.00pm Move to the Old Kitchen for an introduction to the work of James Turrell whilst enjoying soup and sausage rolls with a choice of a glass of wine or a soft drink.

8.30pm As the sun sets, depart for Skyspace, taking in Richard Long’s Full Moon Circle on the way – we will then spend the twilight hour in the space.

10.00pm Return to the Old Kitchen for hot drinks and chocolate brownies by the fire.

10.30pm Close.

Please note, we will be outside at dusk, so dress for warmth and wear comfortable shoes. Skyspace is a 10 minute walk from the Old Kitchen and is accessed by a ramp.

Tickets to this event are very limited therefore prebooking is essential.
